As Interaction Engineer you will make the exoskeleton do exactly what the pilot wants and you will make sure that the pilot receives feedback about the current state of the exoskeleton. Developing a system that makes the exoskeleton an extension of the pilot is your goal! Do you like to brainstorm with the pilot? Can you implement creative methods to get to the best solutions? Then you are the Interaction Engineer we are looking for!
You main task this year will be creating the interface between pilot and machine. In making the exoskeleton more stable, there is a chance that the pilot needs to receive feedback based on data that was not yet collected in previous exoskeletons. With enough information about the state of the exoskeleton, the pilot must be able to select on his / her desired action in a clear and pleasant way. You are completely free to think about how this is done as well as possible: visually, with audio, by means of vibrations or maybe you think of a new way! In short, together with the Fixture Engineer and Movement Engineers you are the link between man and machine.
