Last month was again a very busy, but very fun month. This month was full of events, we are further in the assembly and there is a lot of testing taking place. Everyone is working very hard to make the exoskeleton do an airgait (to let the exoskeleton walk in the air). Before we can reach this, some bugs in the software are being resolved and unforeseen problems are also being solved. But, this is exactly where we are trained on as a dreamteam: Being very flexible and solving problems! We will tell in a glance what we experienced this month and what is coming the upcoming month.
Have fun reading!

Damen Raceroei Regatta In the weekend of the 5th and 6th of May 2018 the Deltsche Studenten Roeivereniging "Laga" organised the Damen Raceroei Regatta for the sixth time. The Damen Raceroei Regatta focuses on (sub)top rowers. It is the ideal moment to face off with the rest of the Dutch rowing scene. A regatta where the races are all that matter. As the sixth edition of this event it was, again, a unique event where we were present with our exoskeleton to tell rowing students about the technology. We hope that we made the students very enthusiastic about the exoskeleton technology!
Neurocontrol Symposium On monday the 14th of May Project MARCH was attending the Neurocontrol Symposium at Soesterberg. During this symposium the resluts of research of partners from the NeuroControl-consortium were presented. After the presentation Project MARCH had the opportunity to present the exoskeleton to the attenders to also tell them about the exoskeleton. It was a very sunny day where we enjoyed ourselves!
Bringing Back Motion Every academical year the faculty of Biomedical Technology of the Eindhoven University of Technology organizes an oneday sypmosium which this year was on the 15th of May. This edition was dedicated to 'Bringing Back Motion': biomedical and technological developments in the field of rehabilitation. We really liked that we were invited by fellow technical students to speak there! Evelien and Lennart traveled to Eindhoven University of Technology to discuss technology with enthusiastic students.
MARCH I to the Municipality As mentioned in the previous newsletter, this month the MARCH I, the first exoskeleton of Project MARCH, was placed in the town hall. It was a very nice opening with nice talks from both Project MARCH and Ferrie Förster: alderman for economics, culture and spatial planning at the Municipality of Delft. If you are curious about the exoskeleton, or happen to catch the train, you can visit it at the Town Hall in Delft!
