On the 15th and 16th of November 2017 the 17th edition of the Precisiebeurs took place. Project MARCH was standing at this fair to present the newest prototype of the MARCH. As technical students we loved to have some tech-talks with our visitors, since this congress was all about technology
In week 46 the first edition of the e-Health week was visiting the ministry of Public Health, Welfare and Sports. Tuesday the 14th of October a Hi-technology day was held. This day was all about Hi-technology in healthcare and the introduction of managers and policymakers to them. Project MARCH gave a short symposium here about our project and our contribution to the promising exoskeleton technology.
On November 10th, Project MARCH attended the congress "Verder in Beweging". This congres was organized by our partner De Sint-Maartens Kliniek. At this congres the focus was on future healthcare with regard to posture and movement. Here, we shared our vision on the future of the promising exoskeleton technology with all our stand visitors.
On 9 and 10 November 2017 the Netherlands Society of Rehabilitation Medicine (NSRM/ VRA) organized the Dutch Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (DCRM) in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The theme of this highly interactive and interdisciplinary conference was ‘Moving ahead towards participation’. Project MARCH attended this event to give you more inside information about our Project.
The 8th of November, Project MARCH attended the Carreerday of the faculty of Movement Sciences of the VU. Our team organized several workshops, with an emphasis on solving intense, interactive and in-depth cases.
On saturday the 28th of October the Alumni Day of the student Association Leeghwater took place. Project MARCH provided an interactive programme for the attending former mechanical engineering students of the TU Delft (subscribing is possible via the website).
On Friday the 20th and Monday the 23th of October the Open Days of Delft University of Technology took place. Project MARCH attended these Open Days of the faculties of Industrial Design Engineering (IDE) and Electrical Engineer, Mathematics & Computer Science (EWI) to tell you more about our project. Please feel free to come by!
On Saturday the 28th of October the Alumni Day of the student Association Leeghwater will take place. Project MARCH will provide an interactive programme for the attending former mechanical engineering students of the TU Delft.
On Sunday the 15th of October Science for Humanity took place. Project MARCH II attended this event along with the MARCH II, our second exoskeleton. With help of two Tech-Talks Project MARCH showed the visitors what we do and what we achieved the past years.
On the 7th of October Ruben competed with other persons wearing an exoskeleton during a spin-off of the Cybathlon, held during the Rehacare fair in Düsseldorf. He took the 2nd place, which was an amazing accomplishment of both Ruben and the team!
On the 9th of June, in honor of the 175th anniversary of the Delft University of Technology, the Technology for Life Symposium took place.
On the 7th of June we were part of the "Secrets of Superhero Science" congress during the International Festival of Technology.
On the 1st of June the Naturalis After Dark event took place on location for the first time, namely at the Delft University of Technology!
On the 7th of May we ran for those who can't during Wings for Life together with Ruben!
On the 24th of March our design presentation took place in the auditorium of the Delft University of Technology. Here we presented the new design of the MARCH II to the public for the first time.
On 27 January 2017 we were present during TEDxSittardGeleen. Donald, our team manager, gave a TEDTalk about Project MARCH and exoskeletons in general.
