Exoskeleton operator (pilot)

You are open for a challenge, like to work with ah group of students and are motivated to innovate the exoskeleton technology. As the pilot of Project MARCH you would be the one who is testing and training with the exoskeleton and you give your input and feedback about the exoskeleton.

What is your role during the design process?

As the pilot of Project MARCH you would be able to give proper feedback on the design. You will give your opinion on design concepts, you will think together with the students about good solutions, and tools the exoskeleton must have. Furthermore, you are part of a highly motivated group of students who also run a lot of social activities.

What is your role during the training period?

As the pilot of Project MARCH you will be the one who is wearing the exoskeleton, and be walking in it. The design is based on your measurements and therefore you will be the one who is testing it. The MARCH exoskeleton is a prototype, and therefore the training will come with a lot of ups and downs. In the beginning of the training phase there will be a lot of fine tuning, and therefore your opinion on the design is considered very important. Together with the students you will think about solutions and ways to make the design better.

The Cybathlon October 2024

In October 2024 there will be a Cybathlon held in Zürich in which Project MARCH willparticipate. As the pilot of Project MARCH you will during this competition be the one who is tackling the obstacles such as walking in balance, walking on a tilled path or walking through doors. During this Cybathlon you will compete against other companies all over the world.
