MARCH 8

The eighth team of Project MARCH consists of 27 motivated students. We are a multidisciplinary team with different backgrounds, most of whom are from TU Delft. We have taken a break from our studies for a year to dedicate ourselves full-time to building an innovative exoskeleton. Our exoskeleton makes it possible for someone with a spinal cord injury to stand up and walk again. We share our acquired knowledge to raise awareness and inspire others. In this way, we are committed to improving exoskeleton technology and taking steps toward daily use.

Teamgoal: Balance

For the team goal of "Balance," Project MARCH VIII developed an entirely new exoskeleton that allows the pilot to walk without crutches, as the exoskeleton can balance itself.

This achievement marked a significant milestone for the exoskeleton, enabling the pilot to use both hands and thus improving their quality of life.

In this manner, we aimed to move closer to the multi-year vision of Project MARCH and contribute to the development of groundbreaking biomechatronics technology.
