Dariya Chobanova
As a Control Engineer, Dariya is responsible for developing precise control loops that translate high-level software commands into smooth and reliable movements of the exoskeleton. She focuses on making sure the exoskeleton is not only functional, but also comfortable and safe for the pilot. This role allows her to combine hands-on engineering with her theoretical background in physics and biomedical engineering.
With her background in Physics and currently studying Biomedical Engineering, Dariya brings a unique perspective to the team, bridging fundamental science with practical applications in assistive technology. She joined Project MARCH because she is passionate about rehabilitation technology and wanted to contribute to advancing mobility solutions, while at the same time gaining experience in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Dariya enjoys the challenge of creating a control system that is both robust and intuitive to use. For her, combining programming with seeing the results on a physical system is incredibly rewarding, and troubleshooting provides the perfect opportunity to deepen her understanding of complex systems. This year, she aims to refine her control engineering skills and help make the exoskeleton more reliable, responsive, and ultimately life-changing for its users.
