Mark van Wijlick
As Lead Software, Mark is responsible for driving software development and ensuring strong alignment between his department and the rest of the team. His role combines technical responsibility with collaboration, making sure the software meets the needs of both the exoskeleton and the project as a whole.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, he is driven by the challenge of solving complex problems and by the impact that Project MARCH’s technology can have in improving people’s lives. What excites Mark most about this role is the opportunity to work together as a team, combining personal growth with technical progress to achieve ambitious goals.
Looking ahead, Mark is most looking forward to seeing the pilot take their first steps without crutches. In the future, he plans to pursue a master’s in Biomedical Engineering to further expand his expertise at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
