Okke Mouwen
As UX/UI Designer, Okke plays a key role in shaping how Project MARCH’s technical innovations are presented to the world. He is responsible for creating the render video for the Design Presentation and developing the visual materials for the Exoskeleton Reveal Event, translating complex engineering concepts into intuitive and engaging visuals. He also contributes to the design and development of the Input Device (IPD), ensuring a seamless and human-centered experience for pilot Daan.
Alongside his design responsibilities, Okke supports the PUMP department by helping secure new partners, strengthening existing collaborations, and working closely with his team on event organization, website management, and the coordination of Partner Events and World Exoskeleton Day. Through these efforts, he helps enhance the visibility and outreach of Project MARCH within the Operations Department.
Okke is currently studying Mechanical Engineering, which allows him to combine technical knowledge with applied design. By using renderings and other visual tools, he makes the exoskeleton easier to understand for a wider audience. This year, he aims to deepen his understanding of multidisciplinary engineering processes while expanding his skills in visualization and user-centered design, contributing not only to the technical development of the exoskeleton but also to the storytelling that showcases the team’s mission of empowering people with paralysis.
