Simon Vas-Bhat
As an Electrical Engineer, Simon is one of the driving forces behind the electrical systems of the MARCH exoskeleton. He is responsible for the Power Distribution Board and wiring. He ensures that everything works reliably and safely, always keeping the well-being of the pilot as a top priority.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Simon joined Project MARCH to push the boundaries of innovation. He is passionate about making groundbreaking technology like the exoskeleton open source, believing this is the key to accessibility and affordability for those who need it most.
Simon was drawn to Project MARCH not just for the hands-on experience in electronics design and production, but for the opportunity to collaborate closely with Mechanical and Software Engineers. For him, it’s this cross-disciplinary teamwork that makes engineering meaningful and it's helping shape the future of mobility for people with paraplegia.
