Anvesha Majhi
As Mechanical Design Engineer, Anvesha is responsible for designing and producing mechanical components of the exoskeleton. She enjoys working closely with other departments to turn concepts into functional and manufacturable solutions. What she likes most is the combination of creativity and engineering involved in bringing an idea from an initial concept to a physical product.
Over the course of her BSc in Industrial Design Engineering, she developed a broad skill set encompassing design, engineering and prototyping. Through various projects, she has gained experience in translating user needs into tangible solutions and working across different disciplines. She joined Project MARCH because it offers the opportunity to combine her design background with her interest in mechanical engineering while contributing to a project with a meaningful social impact.
This year, Anvesha hopes to deepen her technical knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing, working interdisciplinary, and the integration of different systems within the exoskeleton. Most importantly, she hopes to contribute to building an exoskeleton that makes a real difference in the lives of people with spinal cord injuries.
