Koen Visser
As Mechanical Design Engineer, Koen is responsible for designing and manufacturing the frame, joints and covers of the exoskeleton. He enjoys tackling technical challenges with a creative mindset, finding solutions that are both practical and well-designed.
With a BSc in Industrial Design Engineering, Koen is motivated by integrating functionality with design and using his technical skills to make products that make a real impact on people's daily lives. He hopes to become a designer in the medical sector in the future, driven by the importance of creating things that genuinely help people. Project MARCH offers the perfect opportunity to combine these interests within a project of real social value.
This year, Koen is looking forward to further developing his 3D modelling skills, while also learning more about manufacturing. He hopes to broaden his knowledge of mechanical engineering beyond his design background, and looks forward to collaborating in a larger interdisciplinary setting as he helps bring the designs to life.
