Lee Peters
As Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, Lee is responsible for the Mechanical Design department, while simultaneously contributing to the design and development of the exoskeleton. She ensures that all parts of the mechanical system, from the frame to the joints, come together seamlessly, while also keeping an eye on the bigger picture. By staying up to date on the department’s developments and anticipating challenges, she makes sure that everything runs smoothly and aligns with the goals of the project.
With a BSc in Clinical Technology, Lee has a background that combines medical and technical expertise. Her studies involve solving healthcare problems using a technical approach. She chose Project MARCH to develop her mechanical engineering skills while using her knowledge of human physiology. Lee is very excited about improving the exoskeleton because it will allow a pilot to help walk again.
This year, Lee looks forward to collaborating in an interdisciplinary team with a common goal of advancing the exoskeleton. She hopes to gain more knowledge on all technical aspects of the exoskeleton and to learn how to take on a large project.
