Max Kort

As Mechanical Design Engineer, Max focuses on developing and integrating all the mechanical systems of the exoskeleton. He particularly enjoys working together with other departments, as understanding their challenges and requirements helps him create better mechanical solutions. He finds it rewarding to combine different perspectives and knowledge to turn ideas into a well-integrated and functioning system.

Max has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Delft University of Technology, where he developed a strong interest in mechanical design and engineering. He joined Project MARCH because he wanted to further develop his mechanical design skills through a challenging, hands-on project with a meaningful purpose. The combination of engineering, innovation, and social impact makes Project MARCH an exciting opportunity for him to apply his knowledge in practice.

Max is looking forward to working on a complex, multidisciplinary exoskeleton while broadening his perspective and skills within mechanical engineering. Most importantly, he is excited to contribute to a project that can have a meaningful impact on the lives of people with paraplegia.
