As Operations Manager, Morris is responsible for ensuring that both the team and organisation run smoothly throughout the year. He oversees Project MARCH’s financial management, legal and administrative matters, and is involved in maintaining existing partnerships and establishing new ones. What he enjoys most about his role is its variety: supporting the team behind the scenes while also working closely with partners and contributing to the broader direction of Project MARCH.

After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering at Delft University of Technology, Morris chose to dedicate a full year to Project MARCH. The opportunity to work towards an ambitious goal together with a large group of motivated students particularly appealed to him. In addition, he was drawn to the healthcare-related purpose of the project and the opportunity to contribute to technology with a meaningful societal impact. Alongside his studies, his experience as a board member organising a large open-air church service taught him how to take responsibility and coordinate different aspects of a large project.

This year, Morris hopes to develop himself in financial management, building and maintaining partner relationships, and working within a large multidisciplinary team. Ultimately, he hopes to create the right conditions for the team to perform at its best and to see their efforts come together in an exoskeleton that successfully walks during the final reveal.
