Andrew Hutani
Andrew Hutani grew up in Weesp and loves to play volleyball and piano, as well as cooking. He has already gained a lot of experience during his master's in Robotics, where he learned many methods that he can apply in his role as a Motion Planning Engineer. As a Motion Planning Engineer, he is primarily responsible for generating movement patterns based on the environment and the abilities of the user. This is achieved through the use of sensor data and algorithms to translate that data into movement of the exoskeleton's joints.
Andrew enjoys a good laugh but is also a dedicated worker. His personal goal for the year is to gain extensive experience working in a multidisciplinary team, while having a great time and exploring a potential future career path.
Andrew chose to join Project MARCH because it allows him to apply his knowledge in a field that inspires and intrigues him. He felt that his master's curriculum lacked this practical application, and joining Project MARCH broadens his horizons while providing the opportunity to explore potential future career paths. Additionally, he admires the aim of Project MARCH, which is to help people in need.
