Femke Buiks
characteristics of Femke Buiks are that she loves kickboxing, reading, and Lebanese cuisine and hates being late and the taste of cilantro. Furthermore, she is very sociable and always knows how to assist people when needed. That's why she has become a leader in the software department. As a Lead Software, she mainly works on software algorithms, but she is also responsible for communication with other departments to ensure our plans align.
Femke finds coding very interesting, is very driven and seeks academic challenges. She looks forward to work in a large team and explore the managerial aspects of product development.
Her personal goal this year is to increase her coding efficiency and learn how to tackle software development in larger projects. She also wants to focus on clear communication and expand her knowledge of robotics. After March (and the Cybathlon), she plans to start her master's degree in either Robotics or Computer Science at TU Delft.
